Sequence 3 - “Kasbat abi Raqraq”
Sequence 3 takes into account the proximity of the historic site of the Chellah. The project calls for a lake in the foreground with an island on which construction of a major cultural facility is planned. The plain will be preserved and urbanisation limited and integrated into nature. A large area is reserved for sport and leisure. The urbanised area, called “Ville de la Nature” (”Nature City”) will comprise three subdivided districts with low-rise buildings, linked by malls and green belts.
