Urban renewal of the Saint-Jean district. The city’s metropolitan identity will be developed through three major stages and a phased process, during which landmark projects and small-scale interventions will be articulated together.
Saint-Jean is a territory that has been occupied rather than truly urbanised. Through public investment (the BHNS, the secondary school, and the sports hall), this area has been set in motion. The challenge now is to reconcile ambition with deliverability in order to create a metropolitan space that is rich, diverse, and respectful of its history.
A metropolitan-scale project will be overlaid onto a local project. It is this “dynamic of assemblage” that defines the urban form and the implementation principles of the master plan.

Le parc Saint Jean à Clermont Ferrand est la colonne vertébrale de ce quartier en devenir. Il incarne une ambition portée dès l'origine du projet : transformer un site en déshérence en un espace public généreux, accessible, vivant et résolument écologique.
