Construction of the new Pasteur 2 university hospital, comprising 30 operating theatres, 537 inpatient beds, 81 day-case places and 40 outpatient surgery places (i.e. 658 beds), with a musculoskeletal, emergency and intensive care centre, a neurosciences (head and neck) centre, a cardiovascular and thoracic centre, a urology and nephrology centre, and an 80-place nursery.
Rooted in the site’s history and reinterpreting, for our time, the concept of a “Mediterranean hospital”, the new Pasteur 2 hospital is integrated into Nice’s urban fabric, drawing on the city’s staging through topography, vistas, nature and the sea.
The project was delivered in two phases, on an occupied site.

Ouvert en 2015, l’hôpital Pasteur 2 sera achevé en 2024 avec cette deuxième phase de travaux.
Avec la finalisation de ce grand projet, l’hôpital Pasteur 2, parfaitement intégré au cœur de la ville, confortera sa vocation d’hôpital d’urgence et de recours.
