Construction of a new Euro-Mediterranean University campus comprising two teaching buildings, two research buildings, and a site heart (administrative building, library, open-air amphitheatre, conference hall, gymnasium and swimming pool).

As at its origins, the university will once again be the first place in which to think through this refoundation within a globalised, digitised, “virtualised” society—one that fundamentally reshapes interpersonal relationships and the links between science and society.

One might assume that the virtual world will reinforce the real, but it will not be perceived through the same lens. “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes,” wrote Marcel Proust. It is between the lessons of history and today’s expectations that we want to situate the project.
