The challenge was to restore a clear and legible reading of the buildings and the site. Respect for Jean Prouvé’s façades, combined with the introduction of a contemporary architectural expression, formed the core objectives of the project.

Our approach allows this heritage to retain its identity while equipping it with today’s performance standards. The environmental strategy is embedded at every stage of the project: the principle of reuse is applied to construction methods, architectural expression, and spatial organisation, while innovation is driven by objectives of comfort, functionality, and flexibility. The transformation undertaken gives this second half of the 20th-century architecture the opportunity to fully contribute to the future of the Eco-campus.
